My Journey as a Real Estate Marketer and Copywriter

It all started in 2005, working with agents in the Los Angeles real estate appraisal world. I was researching and writing about all kinds of homes - all day, every day. This is where my real estate marketing experience began.

I learned the magic of writing unique and persuasive real estate listing descriptions for REALTORS. Analyzing thousands of (good and bad) property descriptions on the local MLS during my appraisal research is what it took, but I also studied the marketing strategies that successful real estate agents used during my two decades of industry experience.

In 2018, I started passing my copywriting skills down to my already-talented writing team for not just custom listing descriptions, but also email marketing campaigns, sales letters, real estate blog writing services, agent bios, property brochures, mailers, and more!

This is when The MLS Writer came to life…

  • Former real estate appraiser (2005-2013). Mainly wrote and reviewed appraisal reports for major lenders.

  • Former REALTOR (2014).

  • I’ve professionally photographed over 1,000 homes.

  • I visit and work from Iceland a few months out of the year.

  • Almost born in Greece, but Seattle is my hometown instead. Go Seahawks.

  • The longest train ride I've been on was 36+ hours (LA to Seattle).

  • My car is a stick shift - they're more fun to drive!
